Rehnqvist’s Far and close – in Handel’s room

At 6:30pm & 8:30pm the acclaimed clarinetist Jack McNeill will perform Karin Rehnqvist‘s piece Far and close in Handel’s Room (the room with Handel’s harpsichord).

Jack’s a highly-versatile musician working across classical, jazz, folk and improvisation. He is also writing for and playing with his own ensemble, Propellor. 

For this concert in the SOLO series he will perform a wide-ranging set including music by David Lang and Karlheinz Stockhausen, a new work that he’s writing specially for SOLO, and the world première of a new piece by Alex Groves.
