\nWorld clocks are ticking and space is a\u2019shimmer.
\nAll changes place and number order.
\nYet they\u2019re counted, the world\u2019s hours
\nOn Gauri Shankar, in the sea\u2019s valley.<\/p>\n
\nYour answer was then: I know time yet I know it not.
\nTime is a monster with heads a thousand.
\nWhich one of the heads is calling to me.
\nSo many paths to choose
\nyet all end up in one that\u2019s larger:
\nthe one with the power to lure those that are lost
\non that very path leads them all astray.<\/p>\n

\nsilently glimmering Venus shines.
\nIt is a verdant earthly night.
\nStar after star winks into view
\nclear as through a window in the earth.<\/p>\n
\nLike pieces of moldering tar paper
\ndarkness shifts across darkness.
\nIn a formless black rick
\nnight piles up on the shore.
\nBut when the darkness weighs most
\nlightning\u2019s yellow axe strikes a tree.
