On Friday 18 February 2022, there will be a premiere in Troms\u00f8 of Karin Rehnqvist’s work Songs between<\/em> light and darkness<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is composed for soprano, two reciters, alto saxophone, clarinet and piano. The piece is sung in Swedish and recited in Sami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, Karin has chosen texts by two Swedish poets, Gunnar Ekel\u00f6f<\/strong> and Sandro Key-\u00c5berg<\/strong>, and also added her own poem, The Moon Soars Quietly in the Night<\/em>, for the second movement in the three-movement piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
