Karin Rehnqvist has composed some short poems by the French poet Eug\u00e8ne Guillevic<\/strong> (1907\u20131997) \u2013 Le Chant<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The piece, which is a canon for 12 voices, is composed for the Rilke Ensemble<\/strong> with its conductor Gunnar Eriksson<\/strong> for its 40th anniversary in 2020. That anniversary concert had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic, and will instead end in October 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, the ensemble Det Norske Solistkor<\/strong> (The Norwegian Soloist’s Choir) with conductor Grete Pedersen<\/strong> wanted something new for their 70th anniversary in October 2020.
