Haya! is a song to celebrate each day.
\nI wrote it in the Haya language, a language I invented for this specific purpose.
\nIt ends with a few whispered words of Native American poetry;
\nThe morning star is up. I cross the mountains<\/p>\n
into the light of the sea.
\nTo translate every single word from the Haya language is not possible. Though, a few of the key sentences is written into the score in English, so that the choir will understand. These sentences are also inspired by Native American poetry.<\/p>\n
